Orange Healthcare, the healthcare subsidiary of Orange Business Services
With more than 10 years of experience in the area of digital health, we have the technological know-how to develop solutions that are simple, reliable and effective. The services are adapted for medical and home-care situations and provide innovative ways to respond to the needs of patients and their care givers.
Our mission is to accompany the digital transformation of the healthcare sector, in France and internationally, by developing secure data transmission and storage services.
Our goals are guided by a set of key values:
Privacy and security are two fundamental issues in the evolving digital society, and particularly so in the healthcare sector.
We have, therefore, made the protection of data our priority.
Orange is the first telecommunications operator in France to be accredited by the Minister of Health to host personal healthcare data. Following an arduous and rigorous verification process that included data access and risk assessment, Orange was assigned with the broadest scope of personal health data storage options under French law.
Our eHealth solutions are based on security, confidentiality and interoperability.
To this end, Orange Healthcare is actively engaged in initiatives to support and promote end-to-end interoperability for digital healthcare, and contributes to the development of common standards and guidelines, along with open source solutions for healthcare information systems.
Our solutions are based on health data standards such as Health Level Seven (HL7), Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE) and Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine (DICOM). These standards are compliant with data protection and privacy regulations in the countries where the solutions are deployed.
Innovation is at the heart of the digital revolution that has an impact on our daily lives, and that will change our healthcare of tomorrow.
Through our start-up network, Orange Fabs, Orange Healthcare supports innovative healthcare start-ups. We accompany them so that, tomorrow, their innovations will contribute to helping healthcare professionals to better share information, to improve the quality of life of their patients, and to modernize our healthcare systems.
